We are situated towards the Cheadle Health end of the main shopping street in Cheadle, next door to Costa Coffee and Oxfam and opposite the cut through from the main Massie Street car park in Cheadle.

The closest carpark is less than a minutes walking distance around the corner to the clinic at Massie Street. You can use the “Ringo” app/card/cash. The car park charge is 60p for 2 hour and £1.80 for 2 hours. Click to find the location of  Massie Street East car park.

Unlike methods using water the use of ear wax softening drops is not always necessary prior to procedure and in most cases the procedure is pretty straight forward and the wax can be removed within minutes.

The process is quick and painless. It can take from 5 to 20 minutes depending on the amount and position of the wax. Find out more about our ear wax removal service. 

  • Approximately an hour and a half of undivided attention getting to know you and your hearing needs, goals and expectations.
  • We examine your ears with an otoscope to check the health of your ears, ear canals and eardrums.
  • If wax is found we can remove your wax quickly and safely with microsuction wax removal
  • We perform your hearing test with pure-tone audiometry to produce your audiogram.
  • Your results will be explained to you in full.
  • If you need hearing aids, we can discuss all the suitable options and help you towards finding the hearing devices which are best suited to you.

  • If you have decided to move ahead with purchasing hearing aids, your hearing system will be ready for fitting approximately 7-14 days after your assessment.
  • Once you have completed your follow up appointments we will recall you for regular check-ups.
  • We will complete routine reassessments of your hearing to monitor any possible further deterioration and adjust and fine-tune your hearing aids appropriately.
  • Two free ear wax removal appointments each year as part of your routine check-ups.
